Handling of Personal Information

1. Our Policy for the Protection of Personal Information

Lincstech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") considers compliance to be an important pillar of management and recognizes that the appropriate and lawful protection of personal information is an important corporate social responsibility. The Company hereby establishes its Privacy Policy and will disseminate it to our directors and employees and strive to protect personal information.

2. Definition

The Company defines personal information in accordance with the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act") and other applicable laws and regulations.

3. Purpose of Use

4. Provision to Third Parties

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties except when;
(1) the consent of the person who provided personal information has been obtained;
(2) required by laws and regulations;
(3) necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual;
(4) particularly necessary for improving public hygiene or promoting the healthy development of children;
(5) necessary for cooperating with national or local government agencies, or an individual or entity entrusted by them to provide services in their performance of duties prescribed by laws and regulations;
(6) Outsourcing to a third party to perform all or part of the Company’s work to the extent necessary to achieve the Purpose of Use, in which case, the Company will execute a service agreement regarding the protection of personal information, and will exercise appropriate supervision; or
(7) business succession is carried out due to a corporate merger or other reasons.

5. Shared Use

The Company may share personal information provided in the course of an inquiry, including name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, company (organization) name, department name, job title, position, inquiry history, and other inquiry information, with our group companies listed on our website, only to the extent necessary for the Purpose of Use. In this case, the Company will appropriately supervise the group companies with which it shares personal information to ensure a secure management system for personal information.

6. Provision to Third Parties Outside of Japan

When the Company provides personal information to a third party outside of Japan, it will properly present the information to be disclosed to the individual who provided such personal information, in accordance with the laws and regulations of the region or country to which the personal information will be transferred.

7. Requests for Disclosure, etc. and Filing of Complaints

If there is a request for disclosure, notification of the Purpose of Use, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, suspension of provision to a third party, or a record of provision to a third party (here inafter collectively referred to as the "Request for Disclosure, etc.") of personal information (which is the "Personal data the business holds" as defined in the Personal Information Protection Act), or if a complaint is filed or otherwise an inquiry is made, the Company will provide information on procedures, forms, etc. for the request, complaint, or inquiry from the contact point stated below.
Please note that the Request for Disclosure, etc. will be accepted if it is done in writing and sent by mail. A requestor is advised to contact the contact point to ask for an appropriate form for making the Request for Disclosure, etc., which the Company will send to the requestor by return.

Privacy Policy

(1) Personal Information Management System

In accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws and regulations, the Company has established management rules for the protection of personal information and will ensure that all of its directors, officers, and employees engaged in its business operations are informed of and comply with the rules, establish the management system for the protection of personal information, and handle personal information in an appropriate manner.

When collecting personal information, the Company will clearly state the Purpose of Use, collect information only to the extent necessary, notify or publicly announce the Purpose of Use, and use the information within the scope of the Purpose of Use. In order to appropriately respond to changes in the social environment regarding personal information and accompanying amendments to laws and regulations, the Company will revise its policies and rules, etc. as necessary, and strive for continuous improvement, including a review of the management system.

(5) Respecting the Rights of Individuals

The Company respects the rights of any person who provided his/her personal information to the Company and responds in good faith to any questions, requests for clarification, or other inquiries regarding his/her personal information, any request for the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or discontinuing the use of his/her personal information, and any complaint he/she may make.
